Park Island is located on Ma Wan Island, an island between Tsing Yi and Lantau Island, which the Tsing Ma bridge is standing on. Park Island was opened in 2002, and Park Island Transport was put into service on 14th December 2002. Park Island Transport is a member of KMB Group, which operates bus routes and ferry routes to and from Park Island. Its first bus route is Park Island - Tsing Yi AEL Station, and routes from Park Island to Tsuen Wan and Kwai Chung are also under planning.
